Class 5300 EMU (Z-5423) of SNCF-TIR, seen upon turnaround at Tours.
This unit is part of batch 2 (1972-1973) and is dedicated to shuttles running on Tours-St Pierre des Corps and Orléans-Les Aubrais, mostly connecting with VFE services (TGV, Corail Lunéa, Elipsos) .
It was refurbished in 1979 (to Z-6400 standards) when RER Line C was opened.
In 1994, it was transferred to SNCF-AR (TER Centre and Limousin), to run on stopping services.
In late-2003, it was displaced to shuttles around Tours and Orléans (by GL until January 2005, by TIR since then).
