Class 11500 EMU (Z-11501) of SNCF, seen in original livery, close to the famous steel mills of Uckange.
This unit is part of the very last batch of Z2 EMUs, built to 25kV (single-voltage).
This batch was delivered in 1986/1988, for semi-fast services around Rheims, Metz, Nancy and Strasburg, replacing DMUs and old loco-hauled formations.
They were also pooled with Class 2000 of CFL, for Luxemburg internal services.
Uckange.
19th July 1988.
