<br>This is actually a separate, smaller "Lounge" (marketed as "Salon"), located at the very end of Coach 1, just above the end, self-contained bogie. Armrests feature folding tables.

This 6-seat lounge was originally designed for business meetings. 
<br>Yet, it is actually little praised, as it provides substandard accommodation, thence now only reservable once other Comfort 1 accommodation has been sold out. 
<p>
No decision has leaked as to the fate of this area under the Thalys fleet refurbishment (2007/2008).
