This is actually a separate, smaller "Lounge" (marketed as "Salon"), located at the very end of Coach 1, just above the end, self-contained bogie. Armrests feature folding tables.
This 6-seat lounge was originally designed for business meetings.

This is actually a separate, smaller area marketed as "Kiosque", located at the very end of Coach 8, just above the end, self-contained bogie. This 17-seat area was originally designed with a view to accommodating parties. Yet, it is actually little praised, as it provides substandard accommodation, thence now only reservable once other Comfort 2 accommodation has been sold out. "Breakfast", served in Comfort 1 on Thalys 9412 (Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid--->Paris Nord).
Thalys breakfast served on Brussels<-->(Greater) Paris include:

On Paris<->Brussels, such breakfast is served whenever travelling earlier than 09:15am. 6th February 2005.

" Cold Meal", served in Comfort 1 on Thalys 9325 (Paris Nord--->Bruxelles Midi/Brussel Zuid).
Thalys Cold Meals, served only on (Greater) Paris<->Brussels, include:
• A Single (cold) Course (Duck Breast with Wheat salad and Green Beans)
On Paris<->Brussels, such cold meals are served when travelling 10:50am-1:15pm and 5:45pm-9pm. In other time bands, other options (Breakfast, Snack) are available.

As there was just a handful of passengers in Coach 3, attendants came another time with surplus choice items.
