The counter was re-styled in the late-80s (1987/1990), under a light overhaul, in line with TGV Atlantique standards.

The snack area was also fitted under that program, at the expense of the adjacent 2nd-class saloon, meaning that the bar was originally very cramped, with just the counter and very little room around...
<p>
Mk1 Refurbishment (1996/1998) has left the whole Bar area untouched.
