TGV PSE set (No 35), seen bound for Paris.
This set was part of a fleet of 9, wholly first-class, primarily used on Paris-Lyon business services, where 1st-class accommodation would account for either 100% or 60% of overall capacity (with either 1-2 1st-class sets or 1 1st-class set + 1 dual-class set). This fleet was also used to introduce the very first TGV services on Paris-Nice (1987), along with more seasonal services on Lille-Nice (Summer 1988). Lieusaint-Moissy. August 1982.

A picture taken with my first camera, a Kodak Instamatic :) The articulated bogie of a TGV Sud-Est, with the original steel spring suspension that was later replaced by a pneumatic suspension on all trains.

SNCF - TGV Reseau 512. The first TGV from Paris the first morning 23/5/93 are here arrived at Lille Flandres, partly after a quick run on the new highspeedline Paris-Lille. The TGV PSE Lille - Lyon on the left will take the old tracks back to Grande Ceinture outside Paris before entering the HighSpeedline Paris-Lyon. That was due to the TGVPSE's lack of TVM430 signalling in cab, which first was build in on the old TGV a few years later.
