437025 is parked at Aachen West on 17 August 2005. Currently some of these locos
are based at Köln Gremberg for driver training. Trains to Aachen are very
popular for these training runs because it is a short run. Although class 437 is
a multi-system loco, it is very unlikely that it will visit Aachen in regular
operation in the near future. Electrification of the freight line to Montzen
has just begun, but on the belgian side 3 kV DC is used. Class 437 can just use
1.5 kV DC, 15 kV 16.7 Hz AC and 25 kV 50 Hz AC.
