SNCF CC 7107, built by Alsthom in 1952, the locomotive which held the world
record of 326 km/h for one day - the next day the BB 9004 reached 331 km/h,
and it was then decided to publish the same record speed for both. Regular
speed was 140 km/h, power 3490 kW, length 18.922 m, weight 107 t.
Originally the locomotive had prominent aluminium window frames and marker
lights at the upper corners - these were removed at a later rebuild.
