In Beaune station (between Dijon and Lyon), on february 19th 2004,
Bombardier's new AGC was showed to the public of the Région Bourgogne.
It is the first dual power (electric/diesel) AGC officially delivered
to SNCF, numbered X-75501/2.
A meeting was organized with the historic electric loco CC 7102,
to remind that 50 years ago, on february 21st 1954, a similar
locomotive (CC 7121) broke the world speed record, reaching 243 km/h
near Beaune.
