2nd-class interiors of a semi-refurbished X4630 of SNCF-Action Régionale (TER-Rhône-Alpes), seen on TER 95809 (Besançon Viotte-Lyon Perrache), upon arrival.
This is an "ambulance" unit, refurbished in 1985 to run on suburban services around Nantes, with the TAN livery (identical to Nantes Tram), hence their nickname.
3+2 seating remained, but Z6400-style seats replaced original benches. Doubtless more up-to-date, but dreadful for longer journeys, as was the case on that day...
