2 RGP1 DMUs, in RTG livery and running in multiple-unit, seen on some Autorail or Express service on Lyon-Grenoble.
Interestingly, this formation conveyed an extra lightweight "unified" DMU trailer. These had originally been ordered to run with X2400s and 2800s, but one could also spot them with other DMUs and even Z7100s... Le Grand Lemps. April 1984.

RGP1 DMU, seen emerging out of the Ste-Irénée tunnel, nearing Lyon-Perrache station.
Interestingly, this unit had 2 different liveries:
• power car: original livery (green/cream), yet without the original window sill-moulding;

The trailer would feature a moving-gangway and a small cab in the corner, as many MUs running in Britain.

RGP1 DMU in RTG livery, seen on a Culoz-Grenoble service.
The trailer would feature a moving-gangway and a small cab in the corner, as many MUs running in Britain. This set was unexpectedly running with a lightweight "unified" XR8200 trailer, which had been designed to run primarily with X2400s and X2800s.

RGP-1 DMU of SNCF (X-2733), seen on the "Silver Arrow" Rail-Air service (Le Touquet Aéroport ---> Paris Nord, connecting with a BIA flight from London-Gatwick), upon arrival at its final destination.
This unit was part of a fleet of 3: partly declassified in 1973, with original galley removed, yet replaced with a buffet corner. Those 3 units were introduced in 1974 on the "Silver Arrow" and to Boulogne-Aéroglisseurs (for Hovercraft services to Dover-Western Docks), as a welcome replacement for Class 4500 DMUs. Whereas the "Silver Arrow" was axed in 1980, Mk2 Jet Trains (RTG) ousted RGP DMUs from Hovercraft Trains in 1981. Paris-Nord. 17th May 1978.
