Final countdown for RTGs (Deadline: 11th December 2004 !!).

Turbotrain 4580/1 (Lyon Perrache-Bordeaux St Jean), seen at St Sulpice-Laurière, on the Paris-Limoges-Toulouse Mainline, reversing for the 3rd time since Lyons. This is the very last service where RTGs are still diagrammed.

One can spot a Class 72500 DMU on the right-hand track, which was hoped to replace RTGs on Lyons-Bordeaux in the mid/late-90s...
