In June 2003 occured an accident in the railway tunnel of Monaco-Monte Carlo.
The railway line Ventimiglia - Nice-Ville remained interrupted for 8 months.
A local diesel powered train served only the route: Ventimiglia - Menton Garavan -
Menton.
