2nd-class (Open-room/compartments) USI car (B4t4) (50 87 28-37 009-1), seen in the the Death Corridor.

This car is part to the middle batches of USI cars (mid-60s), and is therefore mounted on Y24C bogies, restricted to 140 km/h.
<p>
Originally built as a 1st-class car (A4t4), it was declassified and rebuilt to B4t4 in the late-70s. 
<br>
Unlike those A4t4 that were later rebuilt to 2nd-class (mid-80s, B4t5˝), the original 1st-class seat-pitch remained in the open-room areas.
