Grand Confort generator car on one end of «Le Capitôle du
matin», being refueled. The SNCF TEE cars were built with
380 V, 50 Hz 3-phase AC supply, which simplified the 
equipment of each car, but required a generator car. The
advantage is that you can pull these trains with all
locomotives, regardless of HEP capability.<p>
You can also see the slightly slanted sidewalls of the
Grand Confort cars, which were prepared for tilting (but
a tilting system was never installed).
