Tka-class vehicles are known as "rail lorries". They are used by VR-Rata Oy (a company of the VR Concern which sells the rail maintenance services to the Ratahallintokeskus (Railway Administration Centre) who owns the tracks. Here Tka 7 217 is seen clearing the rails after Jyväskylä railway accident in March 1998.

Ttv-class overhead wire maintenance vehicles are converted Dm7-class DMU's. They are used by VR-Rata Oy (a company of the VR Concern which sells the railway maintenance services to the Ratahallintokeskus (Railway Administration Centre) who owns the tracks.
