VR - Finland Class Dv16 is a class of relatively modern diesel shunters, built from 1962 and the last ones were withdrawn in 2008. 28 were built, and number 2026 is preserved in working order by the National Railway Museum. A Dv16-class locomotive is shunting at Jyväskylä railyard in March 1998. Dv16's were brought into use in the early 60's. Despite their age they will be used beyond year 2000.
