A Dr13 in Toijala on its way to Turku. The train has just left Toijala and is now accelerating (notice the excaust coming from the locomotive) as the speed limit rises from 100 to 120 km/h. On the side of the track you can see traces from the elecrtification of the track. The electrification of this track is one of the reasons why these beautiful locomotives are taken out of service, the other reason is locomotives high age, as they have been in service since 1963. |
