The first line of the <a href="http://www.tranviatenerife.com/">tranvia metrotenerife</a>
will open in march 2007.
The line has been built because of heavy traffic and frequent congestions between the
cities in the north of the island. 20 light rail units of the type Alstom Citadis have been
delivered and are currently being tested on the track sections already completed. Here is
No. 15 on a test run.<p>
