Madrid-Atocha station, seen at some time during its reconstruction into Madrid-Puerta de Atocha, under the Madrid-Sevilla HSL project, probably in 1990.
The ex-MZA Trainshed no longer accommodated any train and was being converted into a tropical garden.
One can see the foundations for the pillars due to support the new trainshed, very much inspired from Ancient Egypt...
The pic was taken from a point now forming part of a UIC-gauge platform of Madrid-Puerta de Atocha.
