These were the days, with ex-MZA signalling and the Trainshed accommodating trains...
Even reliveried by "Estrella" standards, Class 8000 cars belong to other times, let alone the Class 276, still in original livery.
The pic was taken from a point now forming part of the front platform of Puerta de Atocha.
This station closed on 24th September 1988 in order to be rebuilt (almost) from scratch as Puerta de Atocha, under the Madrid-Sevilla HSL project.
