• Left: Tracks fitted with CR-220 catenary (grey masts), currently used by Madrid-intbound traffic (1 track off-station, serving 2 platforms at the station).

• Right: Tracks fitted with EAC-350 catenary (green masts), currently used by Madrid-outbound traffic (1 track off-station, serving 1 platform).

Once the Madrid-Valladolid LAV extends to Burgos, the tracks fitted with EAC-350 will be converted to 1435mm + 25kV-50Hz AC (and a 3rd track to the same standards laid off-station, on the current spare trackbed).
1668mm-3kV DC will then be confined to a single track off-station.
