Under the Barcelona-Figueres-France HSL, this station is to be redeveloped into a mere underground stop for Commuter traffic. The Talgo Pendular 6 formation there is that of Trenhotel 275/4 "Pau Casals" (from Zürich Hbf) and 11275/4 "Salvador Dali" (from Milano Cle), awaiting to be shunted back to the Talgo workshops (further right, off-pic). Yet, under the Madrid-Barcelona HSL, it is to relieve Barcelona-Sants, where fewer tracks will be available as remodelling goes ahead.
