The other picture shows one of the three Diesel-hydraulic locomtives constructed in 1959 by Batignolles-Chatillon. (numbers 1203, 1206 & 1208). The numbers are not successive because the rolling stock is inherited from the FEVE. This is the second Spanish national railway company, wich was responsible for most of the narrow gauge railways. The RENFE (THE national railway company) does the broad gauge railways). Nowadays most narrow gauge railways are owned by the regional authorities.
