The station Zumaya-Empalme in the early afternoon. This busy station was the junction between the FEVE mainline San Sebastian-Bilbao and the Zumarraga-Zumaya railway (Ferrocarril del Urola). In the background, the FEVE station building. Far on the right is the Urola station with the clock. A train of the Urola-railway is waiting to go, a westbound freight train is coming in, waiting to cross with an eastbound passenger train to San Sebastian. Urola overhad wire is supported by concrete masts, Feve wire by steel masts. Summer 1979.
