Madrid-Atocha station, seen in September 1979.
From the left to the right:
Class 590 Schienenbus, on some stopping service;
Class 8000 cars on some Rapido or Expreso;
Class 438 EMU in original livery, on some Regional service;
Class 5000 cars, on some Rapido or Expreso.
These were the days, with ex-MZA signalling and the Trainshed accommodating trains...
The pic was taken from a point now forming part of the front platform of Puerta de Atocha. Photo by Jose Ignacio Esnarriaga (jiesnarria@telefonica.net) (Aknowledgements), from Tranvia.org. Posting and comment by P.L.Guillemin (plguillemin@yahoo.fr)
