Semi-Refurbished Class 440 of RENFE-Cercanias (440.133, ex-Regionales).

In 1999, this unit got a light refurbishment (with 2nd-hand mainline seats), in an attempt to improve "Delta" services running on L'Hospitalet de Llobregat-Barcelona-Latour de Carol. While it has lost its intermediate trailer, it has otherwise retained most of its original condition.
<p>
On that day, it was running with a fully-reburbished Class 440 of Cercanias (440R, at the rear), looking doubtless more up-to-date yet featuring much more spartan accommodation...
