Class 130 variable-gauge set (S-130.001, Talgo 250) of RENFE-LD (Larga Distancia, ex-GL), seen at the Talgo maintenance facilities in Las Matas II.
Whereas power cars are brand-new (by Talgo-Bombardier), passenger trailers are actually former loco-hauled Talgo 7 7B2 set, yet upgraded for 250 km/h (instead of 220 km/h), with bumps on end-trailers and an overhead 25kV line throughout. Las Matas. 15th September 2006.

Class 130 variable-gauge set (S-130.001, Talgo 250) of RENFE-LD (Larga Distancia, ex-GL).
Power-cars bear a strong resemblence with those of AVE-102s, with a shorter nose, though, hence their nickname "Minipato". Las Matas. 15th September 2006.

Turista-class/Generator end-car (ex TGB7-708.003). The end-bump and the 25kV overhead line are well in evidence here, while the old "220" mark-ups have provisionally remained... Las Matas. 15th September 2006.

Turista-class/Generator end-car (ex TGB7-708.003). The upgrade of former 7B2 loco-hauled Talgo 7 set has also encompassed a substitution of end-couplers, meaning that trailers may no longer run with conventional locomotives... Las Matas. 15th September 2006.
