Whereas power cars are brand-new (by Talgo-Bombardier), passenger trailers are actually former loco-hauled Talgo 7 7B2 set, yet upgraded for 250 km/h (instead of 220 km/h), with bumps on end-trailers and an overhead 25kV line throughout.
