Velaro E unit 16, middle car 90 71 7-103 316-6 (Preferente). Interior. As AVE has three comfort levels, this is the "middle class" with 2+1 seating arrangement, seats in rows (can be rotated by staff), blue fabric seat covers. The seats belong to Grammer's ICE3000 family. Innotrans 2006, Berlin. |

"Club class" is the highest class in AVE's three-class system, with wider leather-covered seats, longer seat pitch, larger tables and at-seat service from a special galley. At least the seats are reclining a bit and have soft head pillows.
