This AVE-100 is seen coming from LLeida-Pirineus and heading towards Madrid-Puerta de Atocha. This was one of the very few "promotional services", which were supposed to introduce VIPs to the Madrid-Lerida HSL, shortly before its intended opening to the public.
Loads of technical failures forced RENFE to cancel most of these and to postpone revenue services until 11th October 2003.
