Through cars to Paris were no longer running. Newly-introduced (Winter 1990/1991) TGV Atlantique would indeed cut by 1 night the whole Paris-Algesiras journey...

This was the last summer ever when through cars between Portbou/Cerbčre and Algesiras would run.

Loco 269.328 in "Taxi" livery was on duty.
