The formation was that diagrammed off-peak: no through cars to Cerbčre, and only 1 through car (still a 2nd-class couchettes Bc9x UIC-Y of SNCF) to Paris. That one would reach Paris-Austerlitz no sooner than completing a second night in motion, running on Defunct Express 304 "Iberia" Hendaye-Paris...
