Class 251 (251.022) of RENFE-Cargas (now of Mercancias), seen passing over the Bidassoa, which marks the French-Spanish border between Hendaye and Irun.
This is a Car Transporter service from Spain, which is to be re-gauged in Hendaye. The consist is seen on the Iberic-gauge track (1668mm-5ft6in; 3kV DC). Conversely, the left-hand track is built to standard-gauge (1435mm-4ft8in) with 1.5kV DC OHLE. This pic was taken from the French bank. Spain is accross the bridge.
