The class 251, made under license Mitsubishi, at the moment is only used for the freight transport, essentially, metallurgical freight.
<p>
With 3 Mitsubishi engines and 4.650 Kw power, a weight of 138 Tm, it was the most powerful locomotive acquired by RENFE, in the years 1982 to 1984.
