Diesel Talgo Locomotive 353-005 with Talgo III Irun/Bilbao - Madrid Chamartin. Aranda de Duero (Burgos) on 11th september 2002.

Maximum speed: 180 Km/h (usually works at 160 Km/h). In 2003, only two of this specific locomotive for Long Distance Talgo trains left running.

TALGO diesel locomotive 3005T (353-005) was built for hauling TALGO coach sets by Krauss Maffei in Germany in 1969. It could operate at up to 180km/h.

Talgo 463 "Mare Nostrum" (Portbou-Murcia), seen at La Parrilla, between Valencia and la Encina.

Loco 353 003 "Virgen de Yugo" was on duty, and had recently been reliveried to "Talgo Pendular" standards, although it was primarily diagrammed with Talgo III stock, as on the pic.

The train seen on the right is a charter service for the 125th anniversary of the Xativa-Almansa line.

Talgo "Mare Nostrum" (Portbou/Cerbère<->Murcia), seen at Alicante-Término (now Alacant-Terminal).

Loco 353 005 "Virgen de la Bien Aparecida" was on duty South of Valencia. It used to run on Geneva-Portbou in 1969/1970.

Talgo III stock was diagrammed on this service back then.
