Interiors of the Talgo II set preserved at the Railway Museum of Vilanova i La Geltrú (Catalonia).

This single-class fleet was marketed as 1st-class accommodation from 1950 to 1970 (Madrid-Hendaye, Madrid-Barcelona, Madrid-Valencia), and then as 2nd-class accommodation from 1970 to 1972 (Madrid-Valencia)

Although seats are arranged in 2+2, the layout seems all but cramped, thanks to the substantial carbody-width (3.207m-10ft6in).

Articulation allows for a very smooth transition between cars, almost seamless, unlike subsequent Talgo generations.

Seats have inspired very much those fitted on Talgo III cars of 1964.

One can see the observation lounge in the background.

This set is seemingly in much better condition than that preserved at Madrid-Delicias.
