Interiors of a Preferente-class "Superasiento Reclinable" Talgo 4 car (TA4L-421 ) diagrammed on Trenhotel 874 "Antonio Gaudi" Madrid-Barcelona. This car was rebuilt in the early-90s from former daytime TA4-401 cars, to offer Sleeperette accommodation on Trenhotel services, at Preferente-class fares, though. The "Antonio Gaudi" remains the only domestic Trenhotel to offer such accommodation. Other domestic services (+ "Lusitania" on Madrid-Lisbon) offer Preferente- and/or Turista-class conventional seated-accommodation. Conversely, "Superasiento Reclinable" is available on all Elipsos services to Paris, Zurich and Milan, with TA6L-621 cars. 2003. While this car belongs to the orders placed in the early-80s, new seat covers were fitted in the 90s, in line with RENFE colour code dating back from 1992 (Green in Preferente, Blue in Turista). Seats are different from those of previously-ordered Talgo 4 cars, and identical to those of Talgo 6. Yet, ambiance is specific to that order, and has nothing in common with other Talgo 4 and 6 daytime cars. 2003.
