While the core formation consists of a (9-car) Talgo 6 set, a second set is often added on Barcelona-Alicante. Owing to the Chinchilla accident, Talgo 7 sets can thereby be seen on this service.
One can appreciate the difference between both types as regards underfloor streamlining.
