Interior of a Class 9000 Cafetería/Turista-class car (BR3t-9820), seen on Diurno 413/2 "Iberia" (Irún ---> Salamanca, with through-cars from Bilbao-Abando).
Turista-class seating-area. These cars were originally built as BR4t-9800 in 1983/1984. In the early-90s, they got a light refurbishment with a video system, while legroom was increased through the removal of 8 seats (which led to their renumbering as BR3t-9820), so as to run on Diurno "Torre del Oro" and later "García Lorca" (Barcelona <-> Sevilla/Málaga/Granada/Almería/Badajoz) until its conversion to Arco on 27th January 2002. Since then, this fleet has been running on Diurno services connecting the Basque Country (Irún/Bilbao) with the West (Salamanca/Vigo/A Coruña). In 2005, this car went through a light overhaul. Turista-class seating-area. Upon overhaul (2005), original seats remained, but these got covers similar to those of Class 2000 (B10t-2200 and BR3t-2800) Arco cars. Irún, Estación Internacional/Nazioarteko Geltoki. 14th August 2006.
