Until 2002, such type of car had been in use on daytime conventional services ("Diurno"). Since then, the demise of this class of train as well as large-scale withdrawals of Turista B10x-10200 and Turista/Cafetera BR4t-10800 cars has displaced them to conventional overnighters ("Estrella").
