Restaurants R12-12900 were rebuilt from olf 8000 2nd. class cars. Most of the series were sold to Iran, where they continue serving. Madrid-Fuencarral..

Restaurants RRR-8000 were the only in the large 8000 series originally built with air conditioned. At the end of its days, they were painted blue/yellow, and fitted with GC trucks for 160 km/h, to match with 9000 cars. All of them are now scrapped. Madrid-Fuencarral.
