Interiors of a Turista-class B10t-16300 car, seen at Barcelona-Can Tunis, awaiting for its ultimate fate...

These cars were rebuilt from Class 8000 compartment cars into B11t-16200s in the early-90s, to run on fast Regional services in Andalucia, primarily during the Expo'92, under the colours of RENFE-Regionales. These were then transferred to RENFE-Largo Recorrido (and relivered as such), and got a video system, while legroom was increased with the withdrawal of 8 seats, which led to their renumbering as B10t-16300. With interiors very close to B10t-9300 cars, they ran on the Diurno "Miguel de Unamuno" Barcelona-Hendaye/Bilbao/Salamanca until its conversion into a Talgo III service on 4th August 2001.

They were then displaced to the Diurno Finisterre/Covadonga (Barcelona-Vigo/A Coruna/Gijon) until its conversion on 27th January 2002 into a Talgo III service. Since then, those cars have queued up for the scrapyard...
