Historic Cologne tramcar 407 runs up and down on a section of the terminal loop at the Thielenbruch museum on 10 September 2006. At each reversal the bow collector has to be turned to the new rear end, by pulling at the rope that is also used to lower it. Recent tramcars use pantographs which can operate in both directions. Although there is a terminal loop at Thielenbruch, running completely without reversals would have required a long tour through the city, including underground lines, for which this car is propably not approved (at least in passenger service).
