Tramcar 3209 of the Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe (KVB) is parked in front of the Thielenbruch museum in the evening of 22 July 2006. On this day the farewell of the eight-axled tramcars was celebrated with special trains from Neumarkt to Junkersdorf and to Poll, and a parade of four cars from Neumarkt to the West depot in the evening. After the parade, 3764 (which belongs to the fleet of the museum for several years) and 3209 (which was used for regular rush-hour services until now) went to Thielenbruch. The picture was taken when 3764 was already parked in the museum, it can be seen on the left in the background, besides some older cars. As there is no space for 3209 in the hall (more precisely: it is not planned to keep more than one eight-axled car), it was later brought to the main workshop at Weidenpesch to be scrapped.
