The interior of tramcar 1877 of the Kölner Verkehrsbetriebe (KVB) seen on 6 May 2006. This car, named "Colonia-Express", was rebuilt from two eight-axled cars to create a car that can handle bidirectional operation (normal eight-axled cars are one-way cars) as well as tight turning loops (in the past turning loops which were to tight for six-axled cars existed in some places). Unlike normal eight-axled cars, it has doors on both sides. All places are equipped with tables, and there is a bar in the centre section (which has no doors). A toilet is also present. This car is hired for special trips.
