Hannover: In order to provide technical assistance after a
crash or to pull a tram car with a breakdown, the üstra has
bought this salvage vehicle in 1980. With a power of 232 kW,
it is the strongest of its kind in Germany and pulls a train

Hannover: The brand new cleaning unit is presented at Hannover fair in 1997.
Not yet delivered, the car already wears "üstra" marks and a typical licence
plate of the Hannoversche Verkehrsbetriebe (H-HV xxx). This Unimog lorry for
rails and roads might be described as a large vacuum cleaner. It replaces an
older and larger vehicle.

others, they still have orange livery, unlike other work cars.

Hannover: Three salt lores (green/white) and three snowploughs
(orange) in a line at Laatzen/Senefelderstraße. While the
weather was still fine at the end of September 1998, the cars
have to be moved sometimes, and the drivers also need some
experience on these types of cars.
