After Halle (Saale) has been the first city in Eastern Germany to receive new low-floor tramway 
cars (nrs. 500 and 501) in 1993, finally the first set of 12 cars with a modified construction 
and design was delivered by Duewag (Krefeld) and Waggonbau Bautzen from April 1996. Here tramcar 
604 of the HAVAG (public transport company of Halle (Saale)) is on a special roundtrip line 14 
on the occasion of the yearly "Citytag", taken at Steintor on October 5th, 1996.
