Historic DVB tram No. 2000, the first T4D in Dresden, rebuilt
to its state of origin. The inscriptions next to the doors say
"OS - Ohne Schaffner - Mit Zahlbox", which refers to the new
method of payment introduced with these trams: there was no
more conductor to sell tickets, instead you had to insert your
money in a box and get your ticket. Later this was changed
again, you had to buy your ticket from the driver, and today
you can get it from ticket machines in the stations and in the
first car of each train.
