BVG 5003-A/B, one of 17 ordered Alstom Urbanliners for Berlin
(a development of the Flexity platform), length 50.89 m, width
2.4 m, max. gross weight 100 t, power 880 kW (16 motors), 92 seats
and 220 standing places. From 2025 they will replace double
tractions of two coupled GT6N on the tram line M4 where the stops
allow this length.

ordered, there will also be 3 units of 30 m length. The
contract allows up to 117 unit, to be delivered until 2033.
While the GT6N and Flexity Berlin came both in one and two
direction versions, all Urbanliners will be bidirectional.
